HIGH PERFORMANCE BOLTS

QCB Flanged slewing rings are intended for use with Grade 8.8 bolts and this is reflected on their load curves.

All other QCB slewing ring bearings are designed assuming the use of Grade 10.9 hex head or cap screw bolts (which are only available in Grade 12.9 in the UK).

Bolts, nuts and washers should never be re-used.  Bolts without the correct identification marks should be discarded.

QCB can supply a wide range of nuts, bolts and washers either galvanised or ARMOLOY coated for offshore use.

Special bolts in alloy or stainless steels, Grade 11.9, and with corrosion resistant coatings can be supplied. (Made in UK, certified if required).
